Health Reporters gets UN accreditation to cover Finance 4 Development Conference (FFD)

Today Monday 13th July 2015 marks the opening plenary for the United Nations 3rd International Conference on Financing for Development that will concluded Thursday 16th July 2015.  It is a high level meeting where decisions will be made on how the Sustainable Development Goals will be funded. A big moment in development, as the MDG era comes to an end and development priorities shift.

The 3rd International Conference on Financing for Development will gather high-level political representatives, including Heads of State and Government, and Ministers of Finance, Foreign Affairs and Development Cooperation, as well as all relevant institutional stakeholders, non-governmental organizations and business sector entities. The Conference will result in an intergovernmentally negotiated and agreed outcome, which should constitute an important contribution to and support the implementation of the post-2015 development agenda. It is happening in Addis Ababa the capital of Ethiopia.

Health Reporters is among the media formally accredited by the UN to cover the conference which attest to its credibility and coverage in Africa. It is one of the leading Online Health Newspapers in Africa that reports current health events as they happen and analyses development issues related to health. It operates as a not for profit initiative to improve visibility of health in Africa
