President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has appointed Mr. Fidelis Nwankwo as new Minister of State for Health and the former Supervising Minister of Health and Minister of State for Health Khaliru Alhassan is now the Health Minister.
The President announced this today Wednesday during the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting in Abuja. Nwankwo has been mandated by the presidency to resume work as the new Minister of State for Health, with effect from Wednesday, 18th March, after the announcement at the Federal Executive Council meeting, while Ahlassan vacates the office of the Minister of State for Health, to a higher cadre as the Health Minister
