AMG Foundation, CSACEFA commission toilets at Gaida-Geza Community School

The Aminu Magashi Garba Foundation, Civil Society Action Coliation on Education for All (CSACEFA) have commissioned four toilets constructed in collaboration with the Gaida-Geza Community Development Association.

Speaking at the commissioning, Kano State Commissioner of Education, Alhaji Umar Haruna Doguwa, said the state government’s commitment to build a new primary school at the Gaida Geza community of Kumbotso Local Government Area of the state.

Doguwa who commended the efforts of CSACEFA, AMG Foundation and the Gaida-Geza Community Development Association for the giant stride, and also expressed his dismay of dilapidated infrastructure at the state-owned public school.

The commissioner, therefore, directed the Parent Teachers’ Association (PTA) and the School-Based Management Committee (SBMC), to immediately find a bigger land that will be purchased for the construction of a standard primary school by Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf led administration.

In their separate remarks, the Coordinator CSACEFA, Dr Auwalu Halilu and AMG Foundation Director of Operations, Jalo Sulaiman, thanked Co-Chair K-SaFE, Prof. M. B Shitu, for his contribution to the community.

On his part, Chairman of Gaida SBMC, applauded the prompt action taken by the Commissioner of Education and urged the community members to support the government actions toward improving quality education for all in the state.
