The award is organized annually to honour frontline health workers who have demonstrated outstanding dedication and commitment to service delivery at their places of work.

A statement by Aminu Magashi Garba Foundation (AMGF) Director of Operations, Jalo Sulaiman, said each of the awardees received an award frame and a cash prize of N50,000 and added to the AMG Foundation awardees’ Whatsapp group for networking and career development.

Winners of the fourth edition of the award are; Sulaiman Adamu Musa – Most Dedicated PHC Staff, Nasiru Alhaji Modibbo – Most Committed Volunteer PHC Staff, Marwanu Musa – Most Patient Friendly PHC Staff and Judith C. Haruna – Most Patient Friendly PHC Staff.

The colourful and memorable event was attended by NGO leaders, government officials, 2023 awardees, and the media.

Chairman of the AMGF Foundation, Dr Aminu Magashi Garba congratulated the recipients and urged them to sustain their dedication to duty, good practices and ethical and moral standards in the conduct of their duty.

He equally thanked the Bauchi State Government by providing an enabling environment and ensuring that due process is followed in the nomination and selection of the awardees.
