The Aminu Magashi Garba Foundation (AMG Foundation) has presented the third edition of the foundation’s Annual Award in memory of late Dr Shehi Ali to the Outstanding Resident Doctor and Outstanding Radiographer of the year.
AMG Foundation’s Director of Operations, Sulaiman Jalo who represented the Chairman of AMG Foundation, Dr Aminu Magashi Garba, presented the award to this year’s awardees, Dr Aminu Muhd Babikir as Outstanding Resident Doctor and Mrs Hannatu Auwal Shehu as Outstanding Radiographer.
As tradition, the outstanding resident doctor award is accompanied with a cash prize of N100,000, and N70,000 for the outstanding radiographer.
The late Dr Shehi Ali Annual Award was instituted by AMG Foundation in 2021 with a view to motivate upcoming Radiologists and Radiographers in Kano State and to immortalise late Shehi Ali’s name.
The event was attended by Professor Anas Isma’il, Deputy Dean, Faculty of Clinical Sciences; Dr Musa Muhammad Bello, Head of Department, Community Medicine, Dr Yahuza Mansur Adamu, Head of Department, Radiology and Nafi’u Muhammad Ahmad.
