The Bauchi State Agency for Drugs and Medical Consumables said it would enroll Primary Healthcare Centres (PHCs) on Drugs Revolving Funds platform for prompt and affordable drug supply.
Chairman of the agency, Malam Abdulkadir Ahmed told newsmen in Bauchi that the plan was to cover the 323 PHCs in the state.
“Plans are on to enroll all the PHCs in the 20 local government areas on the Drugs Revolving Funds platform to enable our clients to access drugs without much difficulty.
“The enrollment plan will be gradual, where we will be added to the PHCs, may be in hundreds, till every facility comes on board,” he said.
Malam Ahmed said that the expected support from the Federal Government project, ‘Save the One Million Lives’ if received, would go a long way in achieving the plans.
