Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari has commended Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano state, for providing quality healthcare services for the people of the state.
President Buhari made the commendation at the inauguration of a multi-million naira Giginyu Hospital, named after him. He said that Ganduje’s priority on health care was in accordance with the ruling party’s change agenda.
The president, who described the hospital as the best of its kind, urged the beneficiaries and workers to treat the facility with caution in order to maintain its standard.
According to Ganduje, the machines include digital X-ray machines, 4D ultra sound machines, dialysis machines, CT scan machines and mammography MRI machines to mention but few. He further explained that the provision of the Hospital was reduce medical tourism abroad and provide health care services to the door step of residents.
The governor said the hospital was named, Muhammadu Buhari Specialists Hospital, after the president in view of the Federal Government’s priority on and improvement of the health sector. Newsmen report that Buhari was in Kano for a two-day working visit to inaugurate some projects in many parts of the state
