The Founder of the MallPai Foundation, and First Lady of Kebbi State, H.E Hajia Aisha Bagudu has called on other Non-governmental organizations and well-meaning Nigerians to lend helping hands in empowering the needy in society.

She made the disclosure while donating materials to residents of Kuchingoro IDP.

According to her, the donations were meant to make a meaningful impact on the life of the people.
“Due to the level of challenges and different issues that people are facing in our society, we decided to do something to help the youth and the women”.
“We want to train them, not the usual outreach that we will go, give them food and leave. We want to train them to have skills. We are training them, so as to empower them in the society”.
” Skills acquisition and empowerment will further improve national development and economy rather than depending solely on white-collar jobs. NGOs and individuals should join hands to empower the less privileged. I do not believe in getting only blue-collar job alone”.

The Director of Media and Communication, MallPai Foundation, Mr. McEva Temofe noted that the foundation decided to train the people in order to become independent and not be a burden to society.
” We identified the needs of the IDPs , decided to train them on skills acquisition, give them relief items and empower them so that they will become better individuals in the society “.

Temofe added that the foundation also set up a medical outreach team, to check their high blood pressure, HIV, malaria, and other health-related issues.
Some of the items distributed to the IDPs, include Food Stuffs, Shoes, Mosquito nets, Blankets, and school items that the kids can take back to school.

The Vice- Chairman, new Kuchingoro Idp Camp, Alhaji Usman Adamu commended the foundation for their kind gesture.
He said the resident is hopeful that the living condition will improve over time.
