Governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of Kano State on Wednesday inaugurated 120 health centres built across the state. The centres were provided in partnership with the 44 Local Governments Areas and some members of the National Assembly. Inaugurating the facility, Kwankwaso said the project was a demonstration of the state government’s commitment to provide quality healthcare services at the grassroots.
“The centers, comprising hospitals and clinics, will provide comprehensive healthcare at the grassroots and other health services to patients and care seekers.”
The governor urged residents of the state to make best use of the facilities. He also implored care givers to justify the confidence reposed in them by taking good care of the patients under their care. The Chairman, Dala Local Government Area, Alhaji Ibrahim Dan-Isle, said the projects would impact positively on healthcare delivery in the state.
