A powerful delegation of community, traditional and religious leaders from Magashi community in Gwale Local Government Area of Kano State have paid a thank you visit to the Aminu Magashi Garba Foundation to appreciate the contribution of the AMGF to the community.
Speaking during the visit, Chairman of the Magashi Development Association Malam Aminu Muhammad, said the founder of AMGF, Dr Aminu Magashi Garba reunites with the community through his actions of apolitical support to members of the community.
He explained that, Dr Magashi has sponsored several intervention programmes, which includes a fumigation exercise in the community to fight mosquitos and prevent malaria outbreak.
The chairman of forum spokes extensively on the contributions and support to Magashi community by the AMG Foundation for a very long time, including payment of vigilante allowance of N20,000 monthly for their up keep.
On his part, the leader of Magashi community five daily prayer Imams, Malam Iliyasu Imam, thanked the foundation for its support to mosques around the community.

Chairman of the elders’ forum of Magashi Community Development, Malam Labahani Ibrahim, commended the philanthropic nature of Dr Aminu Magashi and his generosity.
Responding, Chairman of AMG Foundation, Dr Aminu Magashi Garba expressed happiness over the visit, which he described as acknowledgement for his little contribution to the community.
While promising to sustain the foundation activities within the community, Dr Magashi announce plans for empowerment of women and youth from the community.
Health Reporters Newspaper reports that the delegation includes the Ward Head Magashi, Malam Hassan Yahaya Malami, as well as youth representatives from various groups.
Other highlights of the event were a presentation of award of honour to Dr Aminu Magashi by the chairman of the Magashi Development Forum.
