The National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA) has revealed that 17,208,272 of the total eligible persons targeted for the COVID-19 vaccination are fully vaccinated with the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines.
The NPHCDA also said that 25,648,407 of the total eligible persons targeted for COVID-19 vaccination are partially vaccinated.
This agency disclosed this on Thursday while giving an update on the COVID-19 vaccination as of May 18, 2022, via its official Twitter handle: @NphcdaNG.
For fully vaccinated individuals, in the lead position, with the highest number is Kano with 2,891,282; followed by Jigawa – 2,574,283; Nasarawa – 1,256,800; Lagos – 1,199,746; Kaduna – 1,066,228; Oyo – 666,188; Osun – 630,886; Ogun; 626,506;
Adamawa is in the ninth position for fully vaccinated rates with 462,839, followed by Zamfara – 449,888; Kwara – 410,410; Kastina – 393,655; Delta – 391,236; Sokoto – 365,026; FCT – 301,701; Rivers – 299,602; Ondo – 254,336; Cross River – 248,552; Ekiti – 224,722; Gombe – 222,891; Kebbi – 212,715.
Others include, Abia – 203,523; Bauchi – 190,391; Plateau – 177,889; Niger – 161,819; Benue – 158,710; Borno – 149,571; Yobe – 139,502; Anambra – 136,083; Imo – 128,199; Taraba – 123,955; Edo – 112,326; Enugu – 102,226; Akwa Ibom – 100,444; Kogi – 92,768; Ebonyi – 55,953; Bayelsa – 25,388.
Kano leads the states with the highest number of partially vaccinated individuals with 4,688,421; followed by Jigawa – 2,885,279; Kaduna – 2,039,603; Lagos – 1,620,400; Nasarawa – 1,435,993; Oyo – 999,826; Ogun – 991,847; Zamfara – 700,874; Osun – 697,038.
In the tenth is Kastina with 623,191; followed by Kwara – 593,049; Adamawa – 543,194; Delta – 568,673; Sokoto – 561,746; FCT – 505,722; Rivers – 505,595; Kebbi – 449,864; Ondo – 439,007; Cross River – 388,115, Niger – 381,020; Bauchi – 356,622; Ekiti – 317,964; Benue – 313,537.
