I warmly congratulate Dr Aminu Magashi Garba on his appointment as Chairman of the Kano State 2027 Campaign Blueprint Committee. In my view, this is a well-deserved recognition of competence, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to public service.

Dr Magashi is a development expert with vast knowledge and practical experience in public health, health systems strengthening, policy development, governance, advocacy, accountability, and community development.

Over the years, he has earned respect for translating research and evidence into practical policies while championing reforms that improve the lives of ordinary citizens. His work in advocacy has consistently promoted transparency, inclusive governance, and greater investment in human development.

What makes this appointment even more reassuring is that Dr Magashi possesses an in-depth understanding of the vision and priorities of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf-led administration.

As a member of the Governor’s Transition Committee and Chairman of its Health Sub-Committee, he contributed to shaping the policy framework that laid the foundation for the implementation of the 2023 Blueprint.

This unique experience places him in an excellent position to lead the review of the current blueprint and coordinate the development of a realistic, inclusive, and forward-looking 2027 Blueprint.

I therefore commend the Kano State Government for entrusting this strategic responsibility to a professional whose expertise, credibility, and dedication to evidence-based policymaking are widely acknowledged.

As an advocate of good governance, I am confident that under Dr Magashi’s leadership, the committee will produce a people-centred blueprint that strengthens healthcare, advances education, promotes economic opportunities, deepens social inclusion, and accelerates sustainable development across Kano State.

I wish Dr Magashi and members of the committee wisdom, success, and Allah’s guidance as they undertake this important assignment. I have every confidence that their work will help shape a stronger, more prosperous, and more inclusive Kano for the benefit of present and future generations.
