The Aminu Magashi Garba Foundation (AMG Foundation) in collaboration with Community Health and Research Initiative (CHR) and Youth Society for the Prevention of Infectious Diseases and Social Vices (YOSPIS) announce the third edition of ‘Dr Aminu Magashi Annual Award of Excellence for Frontline Health Workers.’

The annual award honours unsung frontline health workers working in Primary Healthcare in Kano, Bauchi, and Kaduna states, who dedicate their time and skills in discharging their responsibilities.

The AMG Foundation stated that people can self-nominate and/or nominate someone for the awards.

“We will celebrate dedication, compassion, and resilience in delivering primary healthcare services. Selected nominees will be invited for virtual interviews and due diligence,” the foundation said.

The successful awardees will receive plaques, printed certificates, cash prizes and a reception.

The entries open Monday, June 10th and end Monday, June 17th, 2024.
