Bauchi community seeks renovation of dilapidated hospital

The people of Burra community in Ningi Local Government Area of Bauchi state have called on the state government to come to their aid and renovate the only hospital in the village.

The nursing officer In-Charge of the hospital made the appeal when Governor Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar visited the hospital to assess condition of the hospital in areas of manpower and equipments.

Addressing people of the community, the Commissioner of Health, Dr Halima Musa Mukaddas announced that the governor has approved the inclusion of the hospital among the10 hospitals to benefit in the state drug revolving fund.

Dr. Mukaddas also announced the immediate posting of a medical officer to the hospital. She added that all the requests made by the nursing officer on provision of beds and mattresses, fencing and power generating plant have been captured in the 2016 budget.
