PMNCH joins Global Fund Board

The Global Fund Board has held its 35th meeting in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire from 26 to 27 April 2016. Among the ley decisions taken is the approval for the addition of the Partnership for Maternal, Newborn & Child Health (PMNCH) to the membership of the Partner’s Constituency on the Board. The PMNCH is a partnership of about 730 organizations working on sexual, reproductive, maternal, newborn, adolescent, and child health. The current members of the Partner’s Constituency are the STOP TB Partnership, Roll Back Malaria, and UNITAID. The Partner’s Constituency is a non-voting seat in the Global Fund Board.

The Board also approved “The Global Fund Strategy 2017-2022: Investing to End Epidemics as well as approved the 2015 Annual Financial Report, which includes the 2015 Consolidated Financial Statements audited by Ernst & Young, South Africa (SA) as well as approved the 2015 Statutory Financial Statements, also audited by Ernst & Young, SA
