The Aminu Magashi Garba Foundation (AMG Foundation) has announced a catalytic funding of N3.5 million to support the ‘Triple 10’ initiative.

AMG Foundation’s Director of Operation, Jalo Sulaiman said the funding was announced at the second planning meeting for the ‘Triple 10’ initiative held Monday in Kano.

The ‘Triple10’ initiative was aimed at construction and renovation of 10 female toilets in 10 Primary Schools in 10 months.

The project will be implemented by the Civil Society Action Coalition on Education for All (CSACEFA) as a leading partner, Aminu Magashi Garba Foundation and Youth Society for the Prevention of Infectious Diseases and Social Vices (YOSPIS).

Sulaiman said the selection of the 10 primary schools will be rigorous and guided by evidence.

“Triple 10 Initiative was conceptualized after the success story from our Gaida Geza Primary School toilets intervention. Our door is open for more philanthropists to join and co-finance,” he said.
