FG to inaugurate Lassa fever action Committee Tuesday

The Federal Government will tomorrow inaugurate a National Lassa Fever action Committee to contain the widespread outbreak of the deadly diseases in the country.

According to statement issued to news men in Abuja, the Minister of
Health, Professor Isaac Adewale, said the ministry would also convene an Emergency National Council meeting on health to discuss the ongoing Lassa fever outbreak and other important health matters.

The statement signed by the Director Media and Public Relation in the ministry, Mrs Boade Akinola, said the committee will be inaugurated during the emergency meeting tomorrow in Abuja.
