Straight from the blessed journey of Umrah, I returned to celebrate a man whose impact on our lives and the lives of countless Kano youths cannot be overstated.

Some people do not just mentor you; they inspire you, open doors, strengthen your courage, and remind you that leadership is about service, sacrifice, and lifting others.

Dr. Aminu Magashi is one of those rare individuals whose commitment to youth development, public health, mentorship, and community service continues to make a lasting difference. His life is a testament to the power of giving back and investing in people.

Celebrating him at 53 is more than celebrating another year; it is celebrating a legacy of impact, generosity, and belief in the potential of young people.

I am grateful to have a mentor whose light continues to illuminate paths for others. May Allah bless your new age with sound health, abundant wisdom, greater accomplishments, and many more years of meaningful service to humanity.

Happy 53rd birthday, Dr Aminu Magashi. May your light never grow dim, and may the lives you have touched continue to shine as evidence of your beautiful legacy.

Happy birthday to a mentor, a builder of people, and a light in the lives of Kano youth.
