AMG Foundation trains youths on automobile repairs

Ten out-of-school youth sponsored by Aminu Magashi Garba Foundation (AMG Foundation) to undergo an eight weeks training and four weeks internship on automobile repairs, have completed their training at the Centre for Technology Development, Kaduna State Polytechnic.

After their training, the youth were presented with starter packs by the AMG Foundation Director of Operations and Administration and the Finance Manager, Sulaiman Umar Jalo and Maimuna Abdulrahman respectively.

They will also go for a one-month internship to acquire more practical skills on automobile repairs.

It was disclosed that after the one-month internship, AMG Foundation will further explore opportunities/partnership to support the youth secure admission and acquire National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF) certificate, an internationally recognized skills certificate.

The sum of N1.2 million was paid by the AMG Foundation to train the youth on automobile repairs.

The graduation ceremony was attended by Engr. Auwal S. Anwar, Director, Centre for Technology Development, Kaduna Polytechnic, Mallam Bashir Lawan, manager out-of-school program of the centre, Engr. Lawal Ibrahim Atiku, tutor and Mr. Dare Samuel, trainer of the centre.
